Hawaiian Shaving Co. Lemon Lavender Shaving Soap
Hawaiian Shaving Co. Lemon Lavender shaving soap. 3.5 oz.
The official name of this soap is Kaimü in the Lemi Poní ala scent, but, let's just call it Lemon Lavender.
This is Mrs. Majestic Shaver's favorite soap to shave her legs. I let her try it out when I first received the sample and, basically, I'm not getting it back. She loves the scent, how easy it is to make lather, and the smoothness of the post shave.
When you open the tin the first thing you notice it that the soap is black, what's going on here? It's from the activated charcoal. Don't worry, as you begin to create the lather it will turn to a pearl white color, letting you know your lather is ready.
The activated charcoal, from cocoanut husks, is an antiseptic and helps remove excess oil from the skin. This soap also contains Kukui Nut Oil which Hawaiians have used for centuries to rehydrate and moisturize the skin.
Like I said this particular soap comes with Mrs. Majestic Shaver's highest recommendation and it apparently shaves legs as nicely as it shaves the face.
BTW: I did manage to sneak the soap away for a couple sample shaves and agree it is a very fine soap. The scent is predominately Lemon without any overly floral Lavender notes, and the soap pairs very nicely with the Hawaiian Shaving Co. Lemon Lavender Aftershave Balm.
